Arthur I. Benjamin, 66, of 9 Hudson Ave, Oxford, died Friday, Nov 28, at St. Joseph Hospital, Detroit, where he had been a patient for three weeks. Born in Brandon Township, Dec 14, 1880, he was the son of Isaac and Mary Swett Benjamin. He attended the West Travis school and was married to Ina Green in 1912 at Lake Orion. He was a retired farmer and had lived in the vincinity of Oxford all his life.

Recently he had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Newton in Oxford. he was a member of Oxford F. & A. M.

Surviving are two sons, Grant of Los Angeles, Calif. and Bruce of Oxford; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Allen of Higgins Lake and Miami, Florida; also two grandchildren, Arthur J. and Patricia Catherine Benjmain.

A Masonic service was held from the Mabley chapel, Oxford, Monday at 2:00 p.m. Rev H. B. Johnson offciated, and buriel was in Oxford Cemetery.
