The Standard Vehicle Co. has been organized here and articles of incorporation have been filed with the Secretary of State. The company will manufacture a general line of vehicles, paying special attention to buggies, surreys and driving wagons. The capital stock is $35,000, all paid in. H. C. Kudner, formerly editor and proprietor of the Oakland County Democrat, of this city, is president; H. E. Pierce, of the Pontiac Buggy Co., vice-president; W. L. Nichols , of the Dunlap Vehicle Co., Secretary; F. L. Perry, cashier of the Oakland County Savings Bank, treasureer. The four officers with J. B. Draper, form the board of directors. Plans hve been prepared and work will begin shortly on the erection of a bilding 75 by 130 feet and five stories high for the company. It is to be located on the Air Line tracks, on the Osmun plat.
