Kinney's Bail Fixed at $500


Bounce Kinney was arraigned beofre Justice Linabury yesterday on the charges of assault with intent to do great bodily harm. He stood mute and his examination was fixed for December 30. Bail was fixed at $500. The woman he is alleged to have assaulted is considered entirely cut of danger.


One Held, The Other Released

Edward Keenan was arraigned before Justice Linabury on the charge of burglary committed in White Lake towcship. His examination was set for jan 25, nad archie Shotwell, held on the same charge, was released on suspended sentence.


New Machine Shop

Pontiac has a new machine shop in the firm of Cole & Wuelfing. It is located in the building with the Acme Vehicle Co., but it is purposed to erect a building for its especial purposes in the spring. Designing patternmaking and repair and construction work will br taken care of by the new firm.


Died Two Weeks After her Husband

Mrs. William hanson died at the home of her son, Thomas Hanson, on West Lawrence street yeaterday morning, The funeral will be held from the home Sautrday afternoon. Mrs. Hanson's husband died only two weeks ago.


Granbois Costly Christmas

Henry Granbois was sentenced to thirty das in jail by Justice Snowdon yesterday. In default of a $15 fine. Granbois celebrated early on Christmas and created too much disturbance at Deueli's barn where he was employed.


Will make No Difference to Hotel Hodges

Frank Watson, landlord of the Hotel Hodges, of this city, makes a statment that the in case of the Hotel Normandie, of Detroit, is leased to himself and Charles Roe, of this city, there eill be no change in the management of the popular Pontiac hostelry.


child'e Death From Taking Medicine

Wilbur Looney, the 15 month-old son of Mrs. A. Looney, of 12 Park St., died from the effects of a dose of medicine he swollowed while playing with the bottle.
